Well, I think it might be finally happening. And I haven’t yet decided if I should be excited or scared. I guess this is a question of all older siblings. Am I being replaced? Is this younger, newer version of me going to steal away all the love and attention that I previously had?
I mean, I have outlived many other team cars. But I am starting to show my age a bit. Do you think the last sudden breakdown along the road was the last straw? I mean it was just like a loose screw making all the noise and vibrations, it wasn’t that serious….
Are they going to get rid of me?
I don’t know! Life is full of unknowns! I am completely at the whims of the plans of others!
DO I EVEN HAVE A VOICE?
Okay. Okay. Don’t panic… No reason to panic… yet.
I mean, they went to the car dealership. (Rather rude if you ask me, driving me to a car dealership, leaving talking about a newer version. Like I haven’t loyally served you for over 20 years!)

But I haven’t seen any evidence of a new car yet. Nobody has come home driving a younger fancier version of myself and said, “Here’s your little brother or sister!” Yet.
Besides, a new car doesn’t mean they are going to get rid of me….Right?

Maybe this is a good thing. Like I could have a mini-me. I could teach it all the tricks of the trade. Maybe I could convince them to go on all the compost runs… That would be nice! A little brother or sister to pass my chores off to. I could make use of this.
I wonder what their name will be. Like I’m Pedro because I originally came to help with the PED project. So, if they are helping with the horticultural project, maybe Horus. Or Horatio. Or if they are named after the gardens, it could be Gary, or Eden for a girl.
Hmm, maybe I need to keep brainstorming ideas.
